We saw this with the Obama coronation and I've seen it many times since- the 17 photo gallery on a symbolically significant news story. Today it's on the Kepler launch. Of course, a photograph is a recording of light, and light seems to be at the core of this symbolism- fire, the Sun, the stars, the Zodiac, Prometheus/Lucifer, the cinema, illumination, and on and on. The Eye of Horus reminds us that its our eyes that are the receptors of light.

Amazing pictures. Will add these to my wallpaper and design collection.
Since Kepler was a central figure in the seventeenth-century scientific revolution in astronomy, are we looking at another step towards a revolution in space.

Hi Chris,
Sorry for such a long comment, but I fell deep into the rabbit hole thinking about this.
At first I was curious why NASA would choose to name this mission after Johannes Kepler who is perhaps most known for his 3 Laws of Planetary Motion, his Mysterium Cosmograhicum -- sacred geometry behind the order of the planets and universe, and his use of astrological systems to understand earthly phenomena like weather. (He also successfully defended his mother from charges of witchcraft.)
I soon realized that NASA's spacecraft will look for tiny dips in a star's brightness, which can mean an orbiting planet is passing in front of it. It is a nod to Kepler's planetary motion theories.
What really caught my attention in a CNN report was the area of space we were searching: "Kepler contains a special telescope that will stare at 100,000 stars in the Cygnus-Lyra region of the Milky Way for more than three years [until 2012] as it trails Earth's orbit around the Sun." Why this area of space?
1. Well perhaps NASA is looking for our ancestors. Lots of ET and conspiracy folks believe the alien root races that created humans originated in the stars around Lyra and Vega. (Vega was also the region that Jodi foster traveled to in Contact).
2. And there are fascinating mythological archetypes associated with these constellations. Cygnus means swan. The swan can be a symbol for metamorphasis, ie Zeus who turned into a swan to seduce Leda. Orpheus also was turned into a swan after his murder and placed in the sky next to his Lyre (Lyra). Cygnus may also connected to the Stymphalian birds -- man eating birds who were the pets of Ares (Mars -- war -- and the first ecliptical orbit studied by Kepler) -- and the 12 Labors of Hercules (Other bird constellations like Aquila nearby).
3. Cygnus also contains a black hole -- Cygnus X-1. My fav esoteric scientist Nassim Haramein suggests that black holes create portals for space travel. . . and not just stellar black holes but ones that are also created in volcanos -- whose activity is increasing world wide.
4. And Cygnus reminded me of your connection of Miley Cyrus with the winged Cyrus the great (is that a Lyre above his head?) and Innana/Ishtar.
Cyrus the Great was crucified? Well Cygnus is known as the Northern Cross.
And Innana was also a Sumerian name for the planet Venus which synchs in with the timing of the launch -- yesterday Venus went retrograde and began its 44 day shamanic journey "behind" the sun AND its metamorphasis from the evening star (love) to the morning star (war). It goes direct on April 17 :)
Whew.
Whew is right! I have no idea where this is all headed. I can only speculate. But my gut tells me it's going somewhere big.
Glad as always to be of service, Andre!
six of those seventeen photos are direct copies and one is similar
"nasa's hunt for another earth" .... what's wrong with this one ?? is it awakening and will not support anymore some destructive life forms ??
it is mind-blowing
