Fake News vs Real Criminality

This would be funny if weren't so frightening. I used to do storyboard work for this production house in lower Manhattan that specialized in financials and Big Pharma. Back around '01 or so, I boarded an project for a big investment firm, one of these motivational films they show to their sales reps. I didn't understand the program they were pimping, so I asked the producer.

He replied, "it's about taking money of your pockets and putting it into theirs."

Shortly before 9/11, I heard that the producer quit the advertising racket in disgust and moved up to Vermont to work as a carpenter.

Man, Jon Stewart is funny. Loved the O.J. Simpson joke.

His commentary is what should really be done on the mainstream media, instead of these forecasters who dont know anything. This economoc crisis is not just developing into the Summer of Hell, but the season of the irrational.

There is no REAL NEWS!
There is only INFO-TAINMENT.

There was a recent lawsuit (last 8 years)regarding incorrect NEWS reporting and the claim was that the network has no obligation to provide real accurate NEWS in its NEWS Programming as it is considered INFOTAINMENT. They are only intending to provide entertainment with information so responsible journalism is not required.

The networks won the case.
