he represents such a bigger think tank in hollywood than we even know, his movies arent well received as id guess, but he made alot of archetypes in his work, at least in my mind..
His story sounds a lot like something I went through during and after a third-eye experience, and what a lot of us seem to experience daily... Awesome read, though. I need to get into more of Crumb's work.
Yea, that's a classic. If you haven't read his Exegesis you should-- he has some fascinating ideas. Also-- have you read VALIS?
It's funny that tommy mentioned it sounded like his third-eye experience. I also had an experience-- I call it my Kundalini experience for lack of a better term-- during February of last year that totally changed the way I view the world. It was somewhat similar to Dick's experience but without the pink laser. The weird thing is that I KNOW it was real and I'm 99% sure I'm not crazy. Before it happened I was a materialist and would never have believed it possible. Life is funny.
