390,000 Jedi in the UK

And this:

Eight police officers serving with Scotland's largest force listed their official religion as Jedi in voluntary diversity forms, it has emerged.

Strathclyde Police said the officers and two of its civilian staff claimed to follow the faith, which features in the Star Wars movies.

The details were obtained in a Freedom of Information request by Jane's Police Review.

How can anyone truly deny the power of the new mythologies?

No, they can't.

This is truly fascinating to see these mythologies manifesting all over the mainstream. Makes you wonder doesn't it? 390,000 Jedi worshippers, Cyberdyne company, HAL robots,...

Fascinating.

Well, it's kind of full circle, considering that the Jedi are merely the Templars, and Scotland has such deep roots with all of that.

The last SW movie was totally 1307 all over again.
