BAG interview about Sarah Connor's future

Even though Sarah Connor Chronicles is being written off as canceled by most observers, an new interview with Brian Austin Green gives me a small ray of hope. It's a great show with a small but very hardcore fanbase, though perhaps a bit too dark and heavy for network TV. Fox may be waiting to see how the new Terminator movie performs before making a final decision.

I don't know what it is, but I find most TV these days to be extremely off-putting. For sure, most shows are over-produced and under-written. Sarah Connor was teamed with Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, which I have a lot of problems with (ethically and morally, it's the opposite of Sarah Connor), even though I'm a recent convert to the Firefly/Serenity universe. More on Dollhouse once I watch a few more eps of it...

Thanks for recommending the Terminator tv series, I enjoyed it & hope it is continued. I enjoy almost all decent sci-fi stuff & this series works for me.

Theres a second interview by Green about his efforts to play Green Lantern & produce the film Fathom & as a comics fan I appreciate his drive to take stock in the quality of what he does. He seems very sincere & into the type of work he wants to pursue, so more power to him.

Interestingly enough, note the Dogon-esque nature of the Fathom storyline & the protagonist slated is none other than his lady,Transformersstar Megan Fox....

He's great in Terminator, which is strange to say because I hated his 90210 character with a passion. All of the gossip mongers wonder why Megan Fox is with him, but I wonder the opposite. In three years, she'll be yesterday's It Girl and he'll still be a squillionaire off 90210 residuals and -IMO- a very capable action star.

I totally support him as Hal Jordan.

Yeah the white rapper ala 90210 was a whole other (terrible!) thing, & he has really surpassed that & is doing a fine job on TSCC. I never followed GL comics enough to comment on the characterization, but Green sounds dedicated enough to bring some serious energy to a superhero/action role.

You are right about Megan Fox, she's to the 2000's what Mila Johovich was to the 90's...sexy, bankable & fun for sci-fi/action, but easily replaced by tons of other young women, like Bryce Dallas Howard; aka Spiderman 3's Gwen Stacy, who's co-starring in Terminator:Salvation.

The latest episode was amazing with the T-1000 action

Definitely one of the best shows on television. Fabulous writing, very deep and profound themes that provoked intellectually fascinating analysis, especially the last ten episodes.

I do hope it returns.

Ohhhhhhhhh so in the timeline that MsWeaver zapped John into, that's Allison and not Cameron smiling at John... according to BAG. That had not occurred to me. Makes for a happier ending... less like the semi-happy ending of CYBORG II between Eleas Koteas' and Angelina Jolie's characters.

Curious to see you thoughts on Dollhouse. An avid Firefly/Serenity fan...plus, the addition of BSG's "Helo" and a more than passing interest in mind control made me very curious about Dollhouse, but so far I have less than enthusiastic reaction to the show itself...
