Brothel biz goes limp in tight times

German brothels pinched by slowdown:

"We're definitely feeling the crisis. Clients are being tight with their money. They're afraid. You can't charge for the extras any more and there is pressure to cut prices. Everyone wants a deal. Special promotions are essential these days."

I had no idea prostitution was legal in Germany, but it should be legalized everywhere. A well-regulated, safe, clean sex trade would cut down on human trafficking and organized crime and protect sex workers from exploitation and predation. As with marijuana, prohibition of prostitution only deprives municipalities of billions in tax revenue and breeds crime and corruption.
