It's pretty crazy seeing this type of story on a news site that isn't only for paranormal stuff.
It's also weird that "Exopolitics" was mentioned. Whenever I see that word I think of Sirians and Reptilians and that whole deal, which also reminds me of your "sci-fi americas" post which is basically what it would be like if those particular "extraterrestrials" were to have their presence on earth presented to the masses. Not sure what to think... Part of me thinks "exopolitics" and government alien contact is another plot to give the illusion of power over others ("we can contact aliens and you can't") as seen in the symbols of Sirius so often presented in media along with other less-known constellations and stars, but another part "wants to believe", basically that the symbols appear naturally through "higher beings" from those reaches of the galaxy/universe being associated with the organizations... Not to say it's that black and white, and I'd like to see another point of view on this whole thing.
All we can do is ask questions, Tommy. It's impossible at this point to separate truth from misinformation. There are so many sightings and so many hoaxes as well. When it comes to this topic, I believe the only true and honorable thing we can at this point in time is ask why. There are too many agenda-driven interests looking to give us answers- which by definition are based on inadequate information.
