Flying Saucer Rock and Roll

For some odd reason, I downloaded a couple Bob Welch hits ("Ebony Eyes" and "Sentimental Lady") off of iTunes tonight. I have no idea what possessed me to do so. Welch was the lead singer of Fleetwood Mac in the early 70s, before the Buckingham/Nicks superstardom era. I was interested to see what he was up to lately and it seems the erstwhile rocker is a big UFO buff. I had no idea.

Now if only iTunes would carry Bare Trees...

The phrase I like,"I have no idea what possessed me to do that." At first, in this video I thought the woman was a young V. Bertinelli. This video I think reminds me of some BECK vids. Thom Yorke of Radiohead has a lyric that goes,"Black eyed angels swam with me." Which is off of their song entitled,"Pyramid Song." I know this song was in the movie SNATCH but the video I always thought was something different. You could say RICKS CAFE in LOW FI. But the symbols are there. When I first heard this song on SNATCH, I thought it said golden dawn. So I always thought that's what it was called. I tend to like dreamy lil guitar solos and this is one of those.Hope you feel better man, looking forwards to the next eagle award winning book(s)....talk soon
