Save Sarah Connor!

Actually, I'm sure it's been axed already. Too bad, it's one of the few TV shows that doesn't actually physically repel me. Selling a thought-provoking, anti-authoritarian, female-led action/sci-fi show to America is a tall order, but it made for consistently excellent sci-fi.

But what a great cast- the stunning Lena Headey replaces Linda Hamilton's scenery-chewing with stoic resignation, and Thomas Dekker deftly portrays John Connor struggling to achieve a moment of normalcy before the storm. Amazing chemistry between Dekker and Summer Glau as his lovelorn cybernetic bodyguard. Excellent supporting cast with an evil Shirley Manson, an ethical Richard T. Jones, a frightening Garret Dillahunt, a gorgeous but duplicitous Stephanie Jacobsen, and a surprisingly badass Brian Austin Green. Go watch it on Hulu and/or DVD.
