Notice the eye with V, rotate that and you get the masonic cosmic eye on the pyramid.
I had looked at this remake several weeks ago in an article entitled V, The Reptilian Visitors Returns!. The fall TV schedule seems to be continuing the alien meme with great fervor.

I loved the original series. It was a major part of my formative years. I was hoping that the V Redux would use the music from the prototype:
Music from the first V seriesIt's not as if it's fantastically gripping and evocative, but there is something of the insinuation of the sinister about this instrumental tune. And it's a major nostalgia trip for me.
