17 Names

Andre and others have pointed this latest bit of political theatre coming from Washington:

Resolution Proclaiming Hawaii Obama's Birthplace Passes House Unanimously - In no short order, H.R. 593 (17) has become what one Democratic operative described as the "counter-birther" bill.

Yeah, and the 17 silliness don't stop there:

Salon has here in its (virtual) hand a list of 17 names of members of Congress who have either expressed support for, or refused to oppose, the idea that America has a foreign president problem. You'd be surprised how hard it is to get a member of Congress to say that Barack Obama is a natural-born citizen with the right to be president.

The leader of this movement is the Honorable Gentleman representing NAZCA NASA

Rep: Bill Posey, R-Fla.: Though rumors of then-candidate Barack Obama's ineligibility for office incubated in right-wing fever swamps during the campaign, they found their first congressional ally in the actual swamps of Florida. Posey, a first-term representative from the "Space Coast" of Florida, is the sponsor of a bill that would require presidential candidates to submit their birth certificates.

One of the Representatives involved is Sonny Bono's widow:

"However, given three opportunities to agree on behalf of Bono Mack that the president was born in the United States and is qualified to command the armed forces, the spokeswoman refused to comment..."

Counting the Facebook friends, that's 17 Republican elected officials who either seem doubtful that Obama is a legal head of state..."

Three and 17, right. But is Obama the real story here?

Immigrants should be eligible for the presidency

"Birthers" say Obama isn't "natural born" and can't be president. Let's make their whole delusional argument moot

Who's the poster boy for this front page story?

Someone email Goro.

No need to email. Been monitoring the otherwise inexplicable 'Birther' movement in this very context! :) Of course, it's likely too late for Arnold for 2012. Palin on the other hand... (You know, I actually prefer Arnold over that crazy woman.)

Wow, this is amazing! These symbolism and synchronicity. It is crazy. So pervasive, that it is becoming increasingly harder to wrap my head around it all. Wow!

Goro - Any candidate offered for 2012, is definitely part of the continuing bloodline. I do agree with you, it looks too late for Arnold. But all this "Birther" conspiracy and the subsequent legislation in congress makes you wonder more about what Freeman said regarding the Presidential transistions. On another note, don't you find it strange that on the day that Palin resigns as Governor, the poster child for the women political movement - Hillary Clinton, declares that she will never make another run for office and wont be a contender in 2012?

Add to that, the fact that there is a report circulating online that the Federal Reserve's contract with America ends on December 21, 2012. Click HERE for more on that.

Strange days and interesting times ahead.

It is great to be alive and be a witness to it all.

Just imagine Arnold saying "New World Order."

Andre, the 'Birther' thing symbolically has much to do with the rebirth/phoenix theme heavily woven into this 'Mayan' period. 'Birther' as in one who gives birth... in politics personified by Sarah Palin and her family (they give birth like bunnies!) Arnold is also that kind of figure but again, the timeline for him may not be 2012 = White House per se. Probably a longer-term 'project'. We'll see.

Chris you win the dollar today for calling out this twist in the plot. What a good laugh.

Arnold's getting pretty beat up over here and he's looking more & more tired every day. I was about to say that he'd better get some phenomenal press before too long, but we all know it's movie career that will even give him a chance of winning a Presidential race.

My money is on Jeb Bush as 2012 GOP candidate. He's the only one laying low.

This may be common knowledge, but I didn't know until I read something from Tania Gabrielle, numerologist of the stars, who can be found on twitter, that the number 17 is the number of immortality. Did you know that Chris?
