Apollo and the Dying Priesthood

The Telegraph presents a debate on the Apollo 11 hoax/not-hoax issue. But of course the title shows us why so many people no longer bow to the self-appointed priesthood of the corporate media: "Apollo 11 Moon landing: conspiracy theories debunked."

The piece is a great example of the profound narcissism and megalomania of the media and the scientific establishment. The claims were not "debunked," they are being debated. Well, that's the wrong term- they're being refuted without opportunity for rebuttal. The writer automatically assumes the establishment view to be the gospel truth, and anyone questioning that to be a "conspiracy theorist." It's exactly this kind of arrogance that is leading newspapers to the brink of extinction.

Personally, I'm agnostic on the whole issue. It could very well be that there is a real space program and a media-simulation being presented to the public. But whatever the truth is you won't find it in propaganda outlets like the Telegraph.

"7) If you speed up the film of the astronauts walking on the Moon’s surface they look like they were filmed on Earth and slowed down.

The best you can say is: yes, a bit, but not really."

Ooh. That was smug.

What a crappy "debunking".

I have had to many arguments with people when they ask me cause i say i am on the fence. funny cause i am listing to the REM song 'Man on the Moon' but when I studied the "Van Allen radiation belt" (BTW this guy rebuttal to that sounded like a response from an elementary school debate club member). I studied "Van Allen radiation belt" just for a bit and that's I am still baffled how anyone would make it through that and not be fucked. Plus the solar flares in 69 were insane.

Anyways a lot of people said that's one of the reasons we have never been back cause you can't make it out of our atmosphere shooting straight up like we do with out rockets.

That's why the ruskies don't do that anymore cause some believe that they are really trying to get there this time and ours and Russians were both hoaxed. Who knows?

Corporate media never told any kind of truth and always was propaganda.
This should have dawned the moment you started thinking for your own^^

I was a frequent reader and subscriber for "Die Zeit" in Germany, till i started seeing "fnords" everywhere (not literally, more intellectually). From that moment on i couldnt watch TV or read newspapers and magazines without the great urge to start screaming and kicking in rage

Greetings from... meh you know the drill

I don't know, I've always been skeptical of the Apollo skeptics, but now I think there's a bit too much protesting too much around (intentional redundancy). Why are they spending so much time trying to refute the criticisms? It's a bit off.

You ult to check out that story about the suits. I will try to find where I watched it or read it if you are interested. Basically this company wanted to do some with with radiation and needed some suits so they went to the people who made the Apollo suits and the people there told them those suits had no such protection.

The other story that was kinda funny was the one of the old woman in Australia I think it was who "saw a coke bottle" on the set, lol.

Anyways reason I came here is cause I wanted to share a funny tidbit I found looking around peoples blogs tonight.

Seems former NASA Astronaut Leroy Chiao has a blog and one of his post was about UFO's, I smell pure misinformation here. First he says he saw two then goes on about how they never visited earth, lol. Its a quick and funny read. Seems like this guy wanted to get back to blogging about "how you clip your fingernails in zero-g"

Oh man just read another one of his post called "Faked?" where he say and I quote.

"The bottom line, is that moonwalk or spacewalk, it would be more difficult to fake. Just think of the army of people who would have to be in on the conspiracy, who would have to keep their mouths shut.

Don't believe it!

Leroy Chiao"

PS Another gem from this guys blog called "UFO's, Aliens, Coverups?"

Again he is mincing his words. To bad he wont straight talk.

"During my four missions in space, I saw a few strange things, but these were probably explainable as either natural phenomena or man-made hardware. I never thought for a minute that any of my sightings were alien spacecraft with living creatures aboard."

BTW I hope everyone here has seen "Secret NASA Transmissions"? If not I posted it over at my site
