Attack of the Giant Chevron

I've talked at length about my feverish leprechaun hallucination, which I remember most clearly because it came late in the game. The hallucinations began when I started getting bad ear infections, probably around 8 or 9 years-old. But there is one hallucination from that period that I remember quite well- too well- but have never talked about because it frankly sounds pretty stupid. It was summer, probably around July '74 and I was very sick. I had an hallucination that I was being attacked by a giant chevron. Right- attacked by a giant upside down V. Yeah, I know, believe me.

But watching this video tonight, I must say it caught my attention when they began discussing all of the chevrons in NASA- and all of the other space agency- logos. It really got my attention when they talked about the history of the chevron and then hit you with its possible significance.

Then that hallucination made perfect sense...

Don't feel so bad about that story. Check out this story of mine called 'The Ride' if you want to feel better about your story, lol

Is that video footage at the end from those peoples movie 'Moon Rising'?

It's funny cause the night before last I was watching a documentary about the moon and they were talking about LTP (Lunar Transient Phenomenon). I had never heard of those before and to hear these people try to explain them on a Discovery Channel documentary was laughably funny.

Great find, Chris.

I am still stunned by the images that they have pieced together. Absolutely amazing. Brilliant work.

The cover up is really intense. NASA is really hiding a lot from us all. Hopefully that small hole in the dam will ultimately cause it to break wide open and reveal all the secrets.

On your dreams, the giant upside down V reminded me of the 1984 television series V, with reptilian aliens invading the earth. Should be noted that the series will be rebooted this fall on ABC.

Wow! I've never heard anything like this before! Great find!

But when I read your post before watching the clip, "chevron" clicked with the original Stargate film for me. You remember matching all the chevrons up for the water door to activate?

And those mission patch chevrons were drawn in some instances like the current NASA "swoosh" or "stargate" emblem.

Was there no mention of the Freemason square and compass especially which definitely emulates the chevron and "A" or as Andre notes the "V"?

Hi Chris
Slightly off topic here but have just watched a story on Aust TV about CT scanning an Egyptian Mummy (name of Horus) and moving 4 ton stone statue of Hathor. Should be posted soon at http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/

I always thought those V's reminded me of a common UFO shape, the V, or triangle.

Also, on a NASA note, I saw a commercial for the show "Moonshot" about Apollo 11. Mis-info campaign, or worth checking out?

Ol' Armstrong and "Buzz" say it's true, but somethin smells fishy about this show.

C- That's an awesome story! Great photos!

Andre- Yeah, I'm not totally on board with the Moon Rising doc, but that chevron thing really grabbed me.

Soapie- Yeah Stargate and the constellations. Makes you wonder about that shape even more...

MikeW- Awesome finds - I put a new article on them.

Anony- Moonshot eh? Well, not the full truth, you can bet on it.

Very interesting... I too had bad ear infections for a while, but I think that was from swimming without making sure all the water got out of my ears.

Would you suggest watching the rest of "Moon Rising"? The title alone seems to tie into a lot of what is being discussed right now...

Watch it. I'm not sure I buy into all of the findings, but interesting questions are raised.

All I've got to say is (points to ears)

FASCINATING.

Well, that's rather validating of my childhood. I used to draw chevrons a lot...Oddly enough, I drew them in the skies of my pictures, both close to the sun and the moon. Great article and video Chris!

This might be a little out there, but they also kind of remind me of tuning forks.

In the Da Vinci Code, a chevron or V (pointing down) was symbolic of divine consciousness coming down to earth, and a chevron pointing up was symbolic of human consciousness evolving upwards, becoming divine. The two chevrons combined form the famous Masonic compass and square logo, and also the Star of David.

Holy smokes! There's more to that hallucination than I could have guessed!
