...here's a Necromonicon-themed episode of Night Gallery based on a Clark Ashton Smith short story, starring Bill Bixby, Vincent Prince and the radiant Tisha Sterling. Funny how much of the pop occultism was around on TV in the early 70s, along with the owls and all the rest of it. Bixby would go on to star in The Magician, which X-Files fans will be familiar with. Apologies to non-US readers, but also a heads-up for online hunting.

I know that this post has nothing much to do with the following, but not sure where I could place this.
It seems 17 has popped up in a very nefarious way. 1+8+0+8= 17. Also another 'twin' is attacked as both hotels stood side by side.

It always struck me as 'funny' when tv or films actually show a 'ritual' taking place, whatever kind it may be. All those people setting it all up and filming it for all to see. I wonder if it adds benefits to the 'original' production...?
As I returned from my 3 hour "mass'mind ritual" (aka the local AMC (which has a black pentagram directly in the center of the whole comlplex out front)), we saw the new Harry Potter. Of couse Harry is full of 'magic', but what was interesting was the trailer for Disney's new 2D animated flick "The Princess and the Frog", it looks like a little New Orleans Voodoo is the ticket in this one, with some nice animated 'rituals' for the kiddies...The other 'ritual' sync was in the trailer for the new Sherlock Holmes flick where he seems to be battling an occult foe, again some 'live' rituals taking place...
I keep mentioning DARK SHADOWS, but that started back in maybe '64 when most TV shows were b&w and primed the afterschool and soapopera following for a dabble into occultsville... One story arc involved The Leviathan Cult~ which referenced DAGON and THE DUNWICH HORROR...
