Can barely make out the lyrics (it's a rough mix), but something about the end of the world and sunspots and vaccinations and famines and other happy topics. Probably inspired by the Alex Jones doc, but these guys have been screaming about the apocalypse since Jones was in diapers.

Hey Solar,
Where does he say anything about sun spots? :-P
I'd rather the lyrics remain ambiguous than present as obvious and with no mystery.
KJ always mixes that way, it's deliberate. Very symphonic - orchestral sounding, as opposed to acoustically air-brushed and punchy like pop music.
Choke by choke...
We want something to break up...?
We war, subject to wake up! ?
"Peak Oil" is but one limited resource that will peak and will either be replaced by new technology, or there will be profound social changes. If adaptation is insufficient, there will be massive economic decline.
KJ has never specifically referred to any of this to my knowledge, but their sentiments of warning humanity for their arrogance is right on the mark.

Just expanding a bit on my previous comment.
Solar input to the ecosystem supplied us with fossil fuels... the Sun providing a comparitively timeless stream of energy input.
Human population and behaviors colliding with Natural-Ecological Limits could result in the kind of potential for catastrophic events that Coleman senses intuitively, I think.
Oil is but one example of a limited resource that will peak and either be replaced by something sustainable that can be utiliezed with new and as of yet unknown technology, or there will be profound social changes to compensate for the resource draw-down. If adaptation is insufficient, there will be massive economic decline.
What's frustrating to many is that the masses are not yet aware and that elites are mostly in denial that anything but Business At Usual is called for. Perhaps it is best that the masses remain in the dark, lest there be the kind of mass hysterial that Coleman warns of?

One of many reasons that KJ music resonates with me anyway. I'm a huge fan of Walker's choice of chords and his organic tone, that almost sound like a living animal to me. Dramatic as hell, hypnotic...

From just before the chorus:
Sit back and enjoy!
A three dimensional screening of the end of the world
Baxter's caught out sending spores
Vaccinations for the poor
Shock by shock we're all starting to wake up
Holocaust begin to roar
Be prepared for martial law
Shock by shock we're all starting to wake up
ENDGAME!
