Hey Chris, thank you for posting my head's up on this, quite honored.
It's interesting notice in Hollywood how persistent this thread or theme is, of people being punished in sadistic ways, for the discovery of something forbidden. Take for example "The Mummy" (1999), which played out the above theme, it makes you wonder if this is instinctive to our conditioning.
